El Chorro Park [Day 2093]

Providing day care for a five year old can be pretty fun and full of adventure. We had a great afternoon out at El Chorro Park, doing some hiking and some exploring at the children’s part of the Botanical Garden.

We even had a bit of excitement during the hike, when on the way back, we encountered a snake across the trail. Let me tell you, you haven’t lived until you’ve had to jump across a snake while carrying a five year old!

(Sorry, no pictures of the snake. I only had the Fuji camera on me, and without a zoom lens, I wasn’t inclined towards getting close enough to get a photo.)
