Photo-a-Day: Year 6, Day 184 – Total Days: 2,010

I‘ve had the pleasure of providing daycare for a friend’s daughter, Willow, this week (one of the perks of going entirely freelance is that my schedule is now my own and I’m free to handle jobs like this. The pay is way less, but it feels much more meaningful in so many ways!)

We’ve done fun things like going to the park, getting ice cream, hiking around the neighborhood and up some nearby hills, and today, we had an extra special trip to the San Luis Obispo Children’s Museum! (Don’t let the name fool you though, it’s not a museum about children ;-)

It’s got all sorts of fun things to interact with, explore, and experiment on. One of the more interesting photo opportunities was this one light table that had transparent, colored, magnetic shapes you could put together. Willow built this large surface with walls and I just loved how the colors and shapes came together to create a neat abstract design that I thought would photograph well. So of course, I pulled out my iPhone and grabbed a few shots in order to come up with today’s photo of the day.
