Star here is one of the most camera-shy dogs I’ve ever met, so it’s always quite a challenge to get a shot of her that’s any decent at all. I suppose this one isn’t so bad, but I certainly felt a bit like the dog-paparazzi as I caught her coming through the door to go outside. ;-)

Made an awesome dinner tonight for myself and some friends: cheeseburgers made from local, grass-fed beef, grilled to perfection and enjoyed on the back patio along with some Firestone Oaktoberfest. Excellent!

Spent a bunch of time cleaning up the kitchen this past weekend. It had become a bit wrecked as my roomate prepped for Burning Man, but now it’s probably better than it’s been in years. Sooo nice and sanity restoring to have a clean kitchen…

I think it made the light hitting it for this photo even better :-)

Once again, the Merrimaker let us down… Went out there for some Karaoke, but the system wasn’t working. (Last time, we went out on a Saturday, only to discover that they had stopped doing it on Saturdays.)

Oh well, ran into some other friends there and ended up going back to their place for some Rock Band, so we still ended up having a blast!
