Fuji X100S – Part 3 [Day 2045]

Fuji X100S camera

Photo-a-Day: Year 6, Day 219 – Total Days: 2,045

Like I said the other day, the Fuji X100S is such a stylish looking camera that it was likely to be the subject matter for photo of the day for a while, and I’m certainly following through on that promise ;-) Click through for more photos of it.

It’s almost a shame I don’t have two of them, so that I could actually use one when taking these photos. But instead, my Canon 6D gets to show off its talents. Today’s photos and the bonus ones below were all done in fairly dim natural light coming through a window and at ISO 3200. The low light performance of the 6D is definitely a winning feature.

I know, I know… I should probably stop with the gear porn soon and actually do some more shooting with this thing! Rest assured that I’ve been taking it around a bit for walks and will be compiling a more comprehensive post about it, along with many samples of photos from it, in the relatively near future. So stay tuned!

I love the retro styling also. Reminds me of the Voitlander my father passed on to me.

    • There’s definitely something wonderful about that classic style, and it’s great to see it making a comeback.

Very cool that you’ve got a Voigtlander! I had to go look it up to learn more. I might have to meet up with you sometime to get some photos of it ;-)
