Tomorrow morning I’ll be running in the Central Coast Cancer Challenge 10K through downtown San Luis Obispo. Today was packet and shirt pickup., so I made sure to get a few photos. Photo of the day is above, but there’s a few bonus ones below.
I’ll be number 777. I like that. Easy to remember. Sounds lucky too. Like something that’d be good to get on a slot machine ;-)
My frequent racing companion, Amy, was there too!
And so were Tiffany and Lauren! Tiffany may be too young to run, but Lauren is another great running companion. A bunch of us even have a “SLO Runners” group on Facebook for motivation and running event info. It’s pretty awesome.
Here’s the registration staff. And yes, the pickup was held at a car dealership. I suppose if you’re tired from all that running, you may be more motivated to get a new car ;-)
Alright, better get to bed early. Race starts at 8am!
