For the first time in a while, I’m not at BlizzCon this year. It’s definitely a lot of fun and I miss it, but it’s also very relaxing to take a year off.

So instead of the long drive, the cost, the lines, the exaustion, and the crowds, I’m doing the Virtual Ticket video stream instead. It’s a pretty nice way to get to see all the panels without needing to rush around.

But I still think I’ll want to go in-person again next year. Taking a year off ought to let me fully recharge and be extra excited for it again ;-)

The Xbox One controller is a lot like the Xbox 360 controller, only even better. Which is great, because I really loved the 360 controller! I really need a get a better picture of this sometime, but right now I really just want to play it for a little bit before bed ;-)

With the combined might of a special white edition bundled with Sunset Overdrive and a temporary price drop, Microsoft finally got me to buy an Xbox One.

I set up a little photo studio in the back room at a Halloween Party I went to this evening, and I’m sure glad I did! Once again, my friend, Gina, had done some absolutely amazing makeup. So glad I was able to get a great shot of it!

Some serious rain made for a Halloween that wasn’t so great for taking photos of costumes (although I’ll make up for that at a party tomorrow night) but at the gathering I was at this evening, there was a cool photo op of one of the kids playing with an LED Hyperion Hoop.
